Junior Manager (f/m/d) Network Development Gas and Hydrogen

FNB Gas e.V. is the association of supra-regional German transmission system operators. Together, its members operate a pipeline network of around 40,000 kilometers for the transport of natural gas and are jointly constructing the hydrogen core network, which is around 9,000 kilometers long. The association supports its members in fulfilling their legal and regulatory obligations. It also coordinates integrated network development planning for gas and hydrogen at the transport network level as part of the new coordination office (KO.NEP) created in 2024. In addition, the association advocates the active promotion of safe, economical, environmentally friendly and climate-friendly operation of the gas transport infrastructure and its continuous further development to meet the needs of the future energy system.

At our location in the center of Berlin, we are looking for immediate reinforcement for the coordination office for integrated network development planning for gas and hydrogen at FNB Gas e.V.

How to get involved with us:

• Als Junior Manager*in Netzentwicklung betreuen Sie die Arbeiten der Netzbetreiber zur Erstellung des Szenariorahmens und des integrierten Netzentwicklungsplans Gas und Wasserstoff.

• They support the grid operators at the interface to the other grid levels in the development of processes for coordinated grid planning.

• You will help shape the publication of the integrated gas and hydrogen network development plan.

• They support the relevant working groups (organization and content preparation and follow-up) of the coordination office and work together with other associations, authorities, industry representatives and external service providers.

That’s how you convince us:

• You have successfully completed your studies in economics, political science, engineering, law or similar.

• Thanks to your interest in the energy industry, you will find it easy to get started with us.

• You have a high degree of organizational skills, initiative, motivation and the ability to work in a team.

• You are comfortable working with MS Office applications, databases and web conferencing tools.

• Determination and a pronounced member orientation as well as strong communication skills round off your profile.
