Consultation on the draft Gas and Hydrogen NDP 2025

On March 3, the Coordination Office for Integrated Network Development Planning for Gas and Hydrogen (KO.NEP) submitted the draft Gas and Hydrogen Network Development Plan (NDP) 2025 for consultation. The Gas and Hydrogen NDP is a key instrument of the German energy transition: it describes the necessary expansion and conversion of the gas and hydrogen infrastructure, thereby laying the foundation for a secure and climate-neutral energy supply.

Consultation until March 27, 2026

The consultation on the draft Gas and Hydrogen NDP 2025 will run until March 27, 2026. During this period, all interested parties will have the opportunity to submit their comments on the NDP in writing via the website http://konsultation.ko-nep.de/.

The transmission system operators and hydrogen transport network operators invite participation in the consultation and welcome public involvement.

Consultation workshop on March 11, 2026

On March 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a public workshop will be held to present the key findings of the draft of the Gas and Hydrogen NDP 2025. Registration is available at https://eventmobi.com/website/konep-konsultations-workshop.
